THE RV Museum in Amarillo!!! Nearly forgot about this ....

Least I forget........

We spent some time investigating the historical RV's from years gone by. It's amazing how fundamental they were then which goes to show just how spoilt we've become when deciding if and whether "camping" suits our lifestyle.

Can you imagine EVER being prepared to rough if like these " affluent" gentle people of yesteryear .

No Microwave

No TV
Gas lighting
No Aircon.

How did they do it, lol?.

 How is this Mini camper, kitchen and everything outside while the inside was only used for Sleeping. This is very similar to how we travel overseas in a 7 seater. I would erect a basic kitchen affair which opens from the outside. We would then sleep inside once the seats have been either removed, or as per our latest renter, .... the seats simply folded flat allowing us to sleep as per a normal double bed ....

Of course we had limited kitchen functions. Just a single stove, a small cooler box, water container, etc.  Even a porta-porta for those awkward moments of which where were really to few to mention, restrooms are found everywhere!!

And lets not forget the great BIKES !!!
